About US
I have recently rediscovered crocheting and
knitting after years of working as a teacher and bringing up my two
boys.
I visited the Wool Fest,
Cockermouth in 2008 and was inspired.
I have to date made over a hundred bags, several
of which have been snapped up by family and friends. Others I have
sold on a stall at a village garden fete and at a Fine Art and Craft
event at the Chapel Gallery in Ormskirk,
Lancashire.
Although I still work full time bags are taking
over my life and the house!
Baskets, bracelets and hats and scarves have been
added to the items I make.
I love blending and matching the colours and
adding finishing touches to make the bags individual and unique. It
is also very satisfying to be able to sit back and look at something
I have made.
One of my other passions is visiting France where many of the
bags are created
during our
holidays. This helped to inspire the name 'Little Sacs' - 'Little'
being my maiden name and 'sac' being French for bag!
